If you think nothing ever happens, things never change, please know that NY State passed a bill to increase the legal age to own assault weapons to 21 this week. Florida did the same after the Parkland shooting in 2018. Things can change but not without us!!

There were some good speakers and many committed people at the event. Amazingly, this rally was organized by teenagers in high school who have all been directly impacted by gun violence. One speaker talked about the need to reach out to bridge the separation everyone feels in the country. Specifically, calling on gun control advocates to address the constant hammering of untruths by “big guns” (the gun industry) with reality.
